Playwriting Workshop with Marisela Treviño Orta
Following Teatro Nagual’s 2026 productions of Wolf at the Door and Somewhere: A Primer for the End of Days, we’re thrilled to welcome acclaimed playwright Marisela Treviño Orta to Sacramento for a special four-hour playwriting workshop.
This unique opportunity invites writers, theatre artists, students, and anyone passionate about storytelling to spend an afternoon learning directly from one of today’s leading voices in American theatre. Guided by Marisela herself, participants will gain insight into her creative process while exploring the art of writing for the stage in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Whether you’re an experienced playwright or just beginning your writing journey, this workshop is open to all experience levels.
